One notable performance was that of St. Anthony School Honolulu as this was their “swan song”.  Before their second song, Choir Director Corazon Aczon shares with everyone that this will be their final song, final choral festival appearance, as the school will be closing its doors in a few months after being open for over 90 years.  The students did not let that news deter them from participating with such grace and enthusiasm.  Many couldn’t help their welling eyes and stop the tears from falling as they rose to offer a standing ovation.  It was fitting that Mrs. Aczon lead all the students and attendees in the finale song.

The Hawaii Catholic Schools office would like to specially thank all the schools, choir directors, choir performers, Maryknoll School, Day AV Services, Mandy Brown of St. Ann School, Michael Pa’ekukui of St. Louis School, and Betsey Gunderson of HCS for your help and participation in making this event a success.
