Creative students featured in Hawaii’s Annual Keiki Day Edition Newspaper

 In News

Original stories, artwork and poetry created by eight students from Hawaii Catholic Schools have been featured in the 2016 Keiki Day edition of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. The original pieces were entered in the Keiki Day Creativity Contest, open to children from grades 1 to 12. The theme of the contest is “Diversity.”

The annual fundraiser generates funds for Parents and Children Together (PACT), a Hawaii-only family service agency that assists more than 18,000 people every year. PACT has grown from a single program based in Kalihi in 1968 into a statewide organization that offers services throughout the islands as well as family centers, domestic violence shelters and transitional housing.

Thank you to all of our keiki for sharing your beautiful writing and artwork and for everyone who comes together to make Keiki Day possible.
