Tuition Assistance

Preschool Open Doors (POD) promotes school readiness by providing child care subsidies to eligible families for the year prior to kindergarten. The Department of Human Services (DHS) contracts with PATCH to run the program. The DHS administers the program.

KIPONA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Kīpona Scholarship provides need-based financial assistance to children attending participating private schools in Hawai‘i (other than Kamehameha Schools).

Pauahi Keiki Scholars (PKS) is a need-based scholarship for eligible keiki who are  planning to attend a participating PKS preschool in Hawai`i.

The Augustine Educational Foundation Tuition Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to students in grades K-12 in Hawaii Catholic Schools.  Applications are available beginning in January and are due the first week of March for the upcoming school year.  For more information, please visit the AEF website.
