Celebrating 20 years in Catholic Education
Kalei DeMello
Kalei DeMello began her 20-year academic career within the Diocese as a Lead Teacher at Holy Family’s Early Learning Center, the year the Center opened. Kalei rose quickly to the position of ELC Director. She took a 2-year hiatus from the Directorship at Holy Family, but continued working in Hawaii Catholic Schools as an Assistant to the Administration and part-time Kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph’s School, Waipahu.
In Fall of 2008, Kalei returned to Holy Family as its current ELC Director.
Lorna DeLeon
As a dedicated educator at Holy Family Early Learning Center, Lorna deLeon has worn many hats throughout her twenty years as Teacher Aide and Teacher Assistant.
One of the Program’s original staff members, Lorna has been instrumental in impacting the lives of many children entrusted to her quality care.
