Pope Francis’ historic visit to the United States, Sept 22-27, has captured the nation’s attention.With his beaming smile and humble approach, he will share a message of tolerance, service, and respect for everyone in our communities. Pope Francis continues to challenge all of us to help the less fortunate through our words and deeds.“When we are generous in welcoming people and sharing something with them,” he said, “some food, a place in our homes, our time—not only do we no longer remain poor: we are enriched.”

Many of Hawaii Catholic Schools are demonstrating grace, service and humility through various programs and initiatives to help the less fortunate. We encourage these initiatives and welcome Pope Francis to America.
